Locanda delle Fate is an Italian progressive rock band that was formed in 1971.

Band history

After the founding Locanda delle Fate were initially active as a cover band and played a. a. Pieces by Emerson, Lake and Palmer , Deep Purple , Led Zeppelin , Blood, Sweat & Tears and Colosseum . Her debut album was released in 1977, but by this time the genre had already passed its zenith and there was no great success. As La Locanda, the band released a single in 1980 and then broke up. In 1993 a live album with recordings from the 1970s was released and in 1999 the band was surprisingly re-founded.
