Loch Beinn Uraraidh , sometimes also Loch Uraraidh , is a lake on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay . It is located in the unpopulated, hilly region in the south of the island a few hundred meters south of the eponymous mountain Beinn Uraraidh . The closest settlements are Glenegedale, about five kilometers to the west and Trudernish six kilometers to the east . The lake is a maximum of about 590 m long and 570 m wide. Loch Beinn Uraraidh is not connected to the island's road network.
On the north and east banks, several short mountain streams feed Loch Beinn Uraraidh. A small stream flows south from the south bank. It flows into Loch Leathan, a few hundred meters south, on Sgorra . Loch Beinn Uraraidh is about 300 m away in north, west and south-east direction by small, nameless lakes, which do not feed it. The lake is suitable for trout fishing.
