Loebner Prize
The Loebner Prize is a prize advertised by Hugh Gene Loebner since 1991. It is to be awarded to the programmer of the first computer program that withstands a strong Turing test over 25 minutes.
Marvin Minsky suggested paying $ 100 in 1995 when the price is finally abandoned.
Price categories
- Bronze Medal: US $ 4,000 (as of 2015) for the program that proves to be the most "human-like" (awarded annually).
- Silver Medal: $ 25,000, the program passes the written Turing test.
- Gold medal: 100,000 US dollars if the program passes the total Turing test , which also involves processing multimedia content such as music, speech, images and videos.
