Loek Hermans
Louis Marie Lucien Henri Alphonse Hermans (born April 23, 1951 in Heerlen ) is a Dutch politician of the Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie .
Life
From 1990 to 1994 Hermans was mayor of Zwolle . Hermans was Minister for Education, Culture and Science in the Kok II cabinet from 1998 to 2002 . He was Senator of the First Chamber of the States General from 2007 to 2015 . Hermans was General Secretary of the Union Européenne de l'Artisanat et des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises from January 2011 .
