Lokot 'Island ( English ; Russian Остров Локоть Ostrow Lokot , German ' Elbow Island ' ) is an island off the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . In the group of the Rauer Islands , it is 3 km north-northeast of the northern extension of Torckler Island .
Scientists of a Soviet Antarctic Expedition charted and named it in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia transferred this designation in a transcribed portion of translation into English.
