The Long Rock is an elongated area of rocky outcrops on the coast of the East Antarctic Queen Marie Land . On the Melba Peninsula, they rise 2.5 km southeast of Cape Charcot .
The Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson named the area in the course of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition he led (1911–1914).
