Ron Chyzowski (born August 24, 1965 in Edmonton , Alberta ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player .

Career

Chyzowski was drafted in the fourth round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft in 72nd place by the Hartford Whalers . However , it should not be used in the National Hockey League . Chyzowski then played for Northern Michigan University for four years before starting his professional career. After a year with the Milwaukee Admirals in the International Hockey League , the Canadiens de Sherbrooke in the American Hockey League and Team Canada , Chyzowski moved to Europe in 1990. He joined the SC Riessersee in the 2nd Bundesliga . In the 1992/93 season Chyzowski played for the Oberliga ESC Wedemark and was with the team runner-up of the Oberliga Nord. A year later Chyzowski played for league rivals Herford EG . Then Ron Chyzowski became a wanderer and played in the 1994/95 season for the EC Bad Nauheim and the 1st EV Weiden . A year later Chyzowski was briefly active for the DEL clubs Schwenninger Wild Wings and Starbulls Rosenheim and also played again for the 1st EV Weiden, the Adendorfer EC and the EC Peiting , before he started his career at TuS in the 1997/98 season Geretsried finished.

He then started a career as a coach and took over SC Riessersee in May 1998, where he worked until December 1999. He then became a coach at Deggendorfer EC before moving to Starbulls Rosenheim in 2002 . With the Rosenheimers he became champions of the Bayern League two years later and rose to the Oberliga Süd. In the 2006/07 season Chyzowski coached the EC Peiting before he returned to SC Riessersee a year later and worked as a coach in the youth field. After working as a youth coach at the German Ice Hockey Federation , Chyzowski has been a youth coach at EHC Munich since 2012 .
