The Long Legged Lake (alternative spellings: Long Legged Lake , Long-Legged Lake ) is a lake in Kenora District in the western Canadian province of Ontario .
The lake is located 50 km west of Ear Falls in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of 359 m . The lake corresponds to a chain of seven partial lakes ( West , North , Lift , Middle , Stork , Pantry and South ), which extends from west to east over a length of 28 km. The maximum width of the lake is approx. 5 km. The area is approximately 69 km². The Longlegged River , a tributary of the English River , drains Longlegged Lake at its eastern end. The lake has no tributaries worth mentioning. The catchment area of the lake covers 548 km².
The lake is a destination for fishing tourists. The following types of fish can be found in Longlegged Lake: eyeglasses , American arctic char , pike and muscle lung .
