The Longstaff Peaks are a series of high mountain peaks in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the north-central part of the Holland Range, they rise immediately west of the Davidson Glacier .
The southern group of the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) around the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott discovered them. Scott misleadingly named it Mount Longstaff after Llewellyn Wood Longstaff (1841-1918), the main private sponsor of the expedition. The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee adapted this naming to the actual nature of the geographic object.
