Loonatikk is a rock band from southern Germany.
history
The combination of swing rhythm and hard rock guitar riffs is typical for Loonatikk. Her best-selling CD is Roll All Over You . With this CD and the successor Devildance The Killerrokk , the band reached their peak of popularity around the turn of the millennium.
Loonatikk existed for the longest time as a trio with vocals / bass, guitar and drums. Following the studio recordings of the most complex CD Oceans Pearls to date , the band expanded to eight musicians in order to be able to perform this song material live. After the EP What Now, What Next? Loonatikk continues to exist as a quartet. The following double CD Over The Moon was created in this line-up of four .
The first five Loonatikk CDs were released on the independent label MDD Records. This was followed by a one-time cooperation with Chiller Lounge Records. From 2008 the CDs were released by the band on their own. This closed the circle to the self-released demo tapes by Loonatikk in the early 1990s.
