Deewana Mujh Sa Nahin (translated: nobody is as crazy as me ) is a Bollywood film from the early 1990s.

action

Ajay is a talented young photographer and has fallen in love with the model Anita. He reveals his love to her and yet she doesn't take him seriously. Her sister recognizes a threat to the family's reputation and wants to quickly marry her off to Vickram, whose father is friends with the family.

After Vickram and Anita got engaged, Ajay also puts a ring on her. He promises her a wedding with him as her groom. Ajay now has a month to convince her of his love for the wedding. Anita is shocked and wants to get out of his way. But Ajay is confident - so confident that he even hands out the wedding invitation for both of them to friends. Even when Vickram beats him up and has him locked up, nothing prevents Ajay from making his dreams come true.

When Anita is molested by a group of men, it is Ajay who bailed her out, although Vickram was also nearby. This is reason enough for Anita to believe in Ajay's love and to marry him. So Ajay's stubbornness was worth it and he got what he wanted.

criticism

“It's hardly a big cinema, of course. Loosely filmed, half-baked and peppered with semi-successful songs by Anand-Milind, "Deewana Mujh Sa Nahin" only delights the most undemanding Bollywood fan. "
