Madhuri Dixit or Madhuri Dixit Nene ( Hindi , माधुरी दीक्षित, Mādhurī Dīkṣit, born May 15, 1967 in Mumbai , Maharashtra ) is an Indian film actress .

Life

Madhuri Dixit is the daughter of an engineer and a musician. She got her first film role while studying biology at Parle College in Abodh in 1984 .

Dixit spends her time in India as well as in Los Angeles, since she met the American doctor Dr. Sriram Nene got married. She has two sons: their first son Arim (* 2003) and their second Ryan, who was born in March 2005. After her first child was born, she wanted to return to the film business, but her second pregnancy made it impossible. After the birth of her second child, she resumed her postponed film projects.
