He wants to take care of him, but quickly realizes how difficult it is to raise a child. When advised to look for a new wife, he married Kamini, the sister of his business partner Gendamal. Sunder Das later learns that his wife Kamini has an illegitimate child. He is upset and there is an argument with Gendamal, in the course of which Sunder falls down a flight of stairs. He suffers from paraplegia .

Kamini plans to kill Sunder Das to get his fortune, but in the will Kishen is listed as the sole heir. On his 25th birthday, he can decide what to do with the inheritance. Gendamal wants to intimidate Kishen and get him to hand over the inheritance later. For Kishen this begins a long period of suffering and humiliation. Only love for his girlfriend Radha illuminates Kishen's life.

Meanwhile, Kanhaiya lives an exuberant life and meets Anju, a young woman, with whom he falls in love. Vidja Charan, Anju's father, is a very good friend of Gendamal's. One evening Gendamal meets Anju during a visit and suggests that Anju marry off his nephew . She's not interested, but Gendamal insists that she meet him. At the wedding of Kishen and Radha, Mr. Charan and Gendamal's family get to know each other.

It is Kishen's birthday , he will be 25 years old. Everyone is there, even his father, who is in a wheelchair . Kishen receives the inheritance documents from the lawyer. When the lawyer leaves, Kishen is now supposed to transfer his property to Gendamal. Kishen hesitates, refusing to sign the documents. Gendamal is angry and starts beating Kishen. The scene changes to Kanhaiya:

Kanhaiya is seriously injured in a robbery and falls into a coma . In the hospital , Anju learns that he is in a critical phase. The scene changes to Kishen: Kishen is still being beaten and kicked, and they want to force him to sign the documents. Kishen passes out and Gendamal signs the document with Kishen's fingerprint . Gendamal has the unconscious Kishen thrown into a river. The scene changes to Kanhaiya: Kanhaiya wakes up from his coma.

PAUSE (typical for Indian films)

During the night Kanhaiya has strange dreams in which someone calls him for help. Bhola Ram now realizes that the other twin is not doing well and it is time to tell Kanhaiya the truth. Kanhaiya keeps asking who is calling him for help. Bhola Ram tells him that they are his twin brother and that he is not his birth father. Kanhaiya is stunned. Bhola Ram visits Kanhaiya's father Sunder Das and confesses his actions,

Kanhaiya decides to play Kishen, Gendamal and his sister Kamini against each other in a game of confusion . First he tells Kamini that he is ready to give her the fortune alone. He tells Gendamal the same thing. Both believe that "Kishen" will benefit them alone. At a birthday party, “Kishen” behaves differently than usual, he sings and dances. The family thinks nothing of it, but Radha realizes that he is not Kishen. He eventually tells her that he is the missing twin brother. The scene changes:

Suddenly, Kishen reappeared. He walks confused on the street. Anju meets him and thinks he is "Kanhaiya". To bring him to memory, she visits familiar places with him. But it is not about Kanhaiya, but about Kishen. Of course, Anju doesn't know that. She goes with him wherever he can remember - but in vain.

Gendamal and Kamini learn about the doppelganger , but believe that Kanhaiya is just someone who looks a lot like Kishen and wants to usurp the fortune. They later find out that Kishen and Radha went to the temple. On orders from Gendamal, his nephew is supposed to take control of Kishen and Radha. Kanhaiya and Anju are also on their way to the temple . You are kidnapped by an adversary . Kanhaiya is beaten up in a back yard. Kishen feels these kicks and blows and is tossed back and forth. Kanhaiya is passed out while Kishen's memory returns. Kishen assures Radha that he is Kishen. As they embrace, Gendam's nephew appears and abducts them both. Kishen is tortured and told to admit that he is Kanhaiya. But Kishen insists not to be Kanhaiya. Kanhaiya, who was able to free himself from his adversary, appears and explains to those present who he and who Kishen is.

There is a fight. Suddenly, Kamini appears on the roof with Sunder Das and throws him from there into a pool of water. He is in danger of drowning. Kanhaiya shouts several times that Kishen should fight back. Kishen begins to get angry and he manages to free himself from the clutches of men. But when he tries to save his father, he is overwhelmed again. Kanhaiya beats the men and saves his father from the water. Kamini is beaten by Anju and Radha, who were previously able to free themselves from their bonds . In the end, Kamini, Gendamal and his nephew end up in the mud.

At the end of the film, Kishen and Kanhaiya can be seen playing the flute and harmonica together . They play their melody . Both can play both musical instruments . But who is who now? Radha asks Sunder Das. He points to a son and says "Kishen", so the father is also on the mend. Anju approaches Kanhaiya and Radha approaches Kishen. The couples are united.
