Johnny Lever
Johnny Lever , real name John Prakasa Rao Janumala (born January 7, 1950 , according to another source August 14, 1956 in Kanigiri , Prakasam District , Andhra Pradesh ) is an Indian actor and comedian .
life and career
Johnny Lever grew up in Bombay (now Mumbai ). As a comedian, he was already noticed during his school days by imitating his teachers. During one of his appearances at a charity event, he was discovered by Sunil Dutt and received a supporting role in his film Dard Ka Rishta in 1982 , which began his film career. Since then he has starred in over 200 Bollywood films . Meanwhile, Johnny Lever has received 13 nominations for the Filmfare Award , two times he won the award in the category of best comedian . He had his first major television appearance in 2006 on the Indian television station Zee TV with his multi-part comedy show Johnny Ala Re .
Personal
Johnny Lever's parents are Prakash Rao Janumala and Karunamma Janumala. Lever is married to Sujatha and has two children, daughter Jamie and son Jesse.
