Kajal and Raj meet in a Cape Town disco and are recognized as the best dance couple. Raj falls in love and tries to win Kajal's affection. Kajal repeatedly rejects him, but ultimately she is convinced of his feelings. While their families are preparing everything for the wedding, Kajal meets a strange man who saves her life in a car accident. He tells her that her father will die on her birthday. At first Kajal thinks him a madman, but when his prophecy comes true, and when she meets him a few more times in exceptional situations, she believes in his extraordinary ability to foresee the future. One day when she meets the fortune teller on the street again, she follows him into his house and asks him to tell her about her future. He tells her that she will die next Friday.
