action

A little boy Karan is born in Calcutta , at the same time a girl named Khushi is born in a village. Right from the start, the narrator prophesies their common fate of love.

A few years later: Karan and Khushi are studying at the same college in Bombay . The two get to know each other through their best friends Priya and Vicky. Priya and Vicky are in love with each other, but they always have to meet secretly so that Priya's tyrannical father doesn't get wind of it. Karan and Khushi are responsible for the secret meetings and they get closer. Nevertheless, neither of the two wants to admit their affection.

Only when their studies are coming to an end do they realize that they may never see each other again, and so they gather their courage. Since Karan and Khushi miss each other, they leave letters expressing their true feelings. After Khushi returns to her home village, she meets her parents there, who have already prepared their arranged wedding. When Khushi sees her bridegroom, she is overjoyed - it's Karan.
