Hero Hiralal is a Bollywood film and tells the story of an auto rickshaw driver who falls in love with a film actress.

Hero Hiralal is from Hyderabad and an auto rickshaw driver who one day meets the movie star Roopa. He becomes her tourist guide and falls head over heels in love with her.
When Roopa returns to Bombay , Hero follows her. Roopa's family doesn't want to know about Hero, so they let him believe that Roopa doesn't love him either. Defeated by this news, Hero wants to commit suicide.
But then he is saved by the manipulative film actress Rani Sitara Devi. She wants Hero to die like a crazy lover in a show in front of the camera.
In the end, however, love wins: This time, Hero is saved by Roopa, who finally confesses her love to him.
