action

Shivaji Rao is a cameraman who lives a simple life with his parents. His parents want him married, but Shivaji does not like any of the girls they have chosen.

A small village complains that their electricity has been turned off, including Manjari ( Rani Mukerji ). The elections are imminent and the head of government Balraj wants to be re-elected, so he gives them the order to give them electricity again, but then he tells his secretary, in secret, that they should cancel this order the next day. Shivaji is there with his camera and films the whole event. There he sees the crying Majari for the first time. You scold her for complaining and speaking the truth. She immediately piques his interest and he starts filming her.

Riots break out in the city when a student is pushed off the bus by a bus driver and injured. There is chaos in the city. The head of government agrees to do something about the predicament so as not to lose any votes. Shivaji records the statements made by the head of government. The TV station has run out of moderators and so it is decided to ask Shivaji if he would like to moderate the conversation with the head of government. He feels honored and gratefully accepts.

In his notes he keeps looking at the fascinating Manjari and looking for her. He finds Manjari dancing in a field. He is talking to her and wants to know her name. She refuses and runs away. He still manages to win Manjari for himself with his persistence. He wants to ask for her hand. Manjari's father is not ready until Shivaji works in government because everything else is too insecure.

Shivaji Rao is challenged to a one-day role reversal during a live interview with Balraj Chauhan, the head of government of the state of Maharashtra . He wants Shivaji to see how difficult the job of a head of government is when he reveals Shivaji to be a liar in front of the camera. Shivaji accepts the request with concern. Any official who does nothing for the safety of the people will be punished. When he arranged for corrupt officials to be dismissed and ensured that 12 ministers, including Balraj himself, were arrested, he made himself very unpopular with a few influential people. The simple guarantors are more than grateful for his actions, because now there is a little more justice. The next day, not only is his life as a reporter a thing of the past, but also those closest to him suddenly live in fear. A bomb is placed in his parents' house by his opponents. Shivaji gets a call warning him about the bomb. He ignores the first call. A second call comes in and he leaves the house because the reception is bad and at that moment the bomb bursts. Shivaji's parents died instantly.

Shivaji drives to his beloved Manjari, who is longingly waiting for him. There he takes her for a walk in a field and suddenly there are shots. Several men try to shoot Shivaji, but he is brought to safety by his protector in time. Manjari's father is shocked because the bullets destroyed his house. He forbids Manjari Shivaji to marry because it is too dangerous. Shivaji sets a trap for Balraj and Balraj is shot. Shivaji becomes head of government and Manjari's father recognizes that Shivaji is only fulfilling his obligations and agrees to the marriage. Shivaji gives his citizens the opportunity to anonymously complain about injustices with the help of a box. The box is empty and that is a sign that the fear has been lifted from the citizens and that there are no more frequent attacks.
