Chaudhary Ranbir Singh ( Anupam Kher ) raises the three children of his late sister. He never married, so he always had a nanny for the children. However, they do everything to scare off the nanny. So Chaudhary is once again looking for a new nanny for the two smaller ones. She should be older and experienced. The young Sonia ( Madhuri Dixit ) is in urgent need of the job because her mother is in the hospital and disguises herself as an older woman to get the job. She poses as Savitri and convinces Chaudhary. Chaudhary is very impressed by Savitri and Vijay ( Salman Khan ) the eldest, already grown-up son meets the young Sonia and falls in love with her.
