Debdas

Devdas ( Bengali : দেবদাস , Devdas ; Hindi : Devdas ) is a Bengali novel from 1917 by Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay , which has been filmed several times. It tells the tragic story of Devdas and Paro, whose love collides with the resistance of their families.
