Jagat Pratap Singh, a tax collector, is disciplined and well respected in society. He tries to teach his family to strictly adhere to the law. But his son Ravi prefers the vigilante justice, in which he lets his fists speak. In this way he was able to win the love of Bharati for himself, which he saved from the villains.
However, the problem is getting bigger. The industrialist Kabza Kanhaiyalal helps his equally corrupt friend Bhushan Nath Bhadbhole to a political office. As Minister Dharmendra, Bhushan wants to get rid of the law-abiding Jagat. He is supported by his and Kabza's son, Kailash and Prakash. The reporter Satyen is murdered and Bhushan raped and then kills the Singhs' maid.
Ravi is boiling with rage and wants to see justice. His father wants to see his senses and the mother Lakshmi tries to keep the family together. But Ravi leaves home and later becomes a police inspector. This alone cannot restore the father-son relationship as they still have a different understanding of justice. Realizing that the law applies to people and is not designed for monstrous behavior, Jaget decides to support his son in the fight against the corrupt minister.
