Lore Ribbentrop-Leudesdorff

Lore Ribbentrop-Leudesdorff (born August 16, 1902 as Hortense Lore Leudesdorff in Elberfeld , † August 26, 1986 in Berlin ) was a German Bauhaus artist.

Life

Hortense Lore Leudesdorff was a student of Johannes Itten , Georg Muche and Paul Klee at the Bauhaus from 1919 to 1926 . During this time she also worked on the experimental films by directors Walter Ruttmann and Lotte Reiniger . From 1928 she worked as a fabric printing designer and in 1932 founded the “Atelier Leudesdorff”.

After going blind due to the war, she created sculptural works in the 1950s. René Leudesdorff emerged from the relationship with Jorge Fulda (* 1905) in 1928 .
