Loredana Boboc
Loredana Boboc (born May 12, 1984 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian gymnast .
She started gymnastics in 1990 and was appointed to the national team for the first time in 1997. Because of an injury she had her first international start in 1998. At the 1999 World Championships , Boboc won the gold medal with the Romanian team.
At the European Gymnastics Championships in 2000 , Boboc achieved bronze with the team. Then she successfully took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney, where she was Olympic champion with the Romanian team.
In 2001, Boboc was once again world champion with the team at the world championships. Then she ended her career due to an injury. She attended the National University of Physical Education and Sports in Bucharest and became a trainer.
