Lorenz Volker Brenneke (born January 2, 2000 in Berlin ) is a German basketball player .

career

Brenneke was promoted in the youth department of Alba Berlin and in 2017 made the leap into the second men's team of the capital city, with which he competed in the 1st regional league. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season, thanks to a double license, it was also used by SSV Lokomotive Bernau in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB .

At the beginning of October 2019, he made his debut in the Bundesliga for Alba Berlin under coach Aito García Reneses . In February 2020 he won the German cup competition with Berlin, and at the end of June 2020 he won the German championship with the team.

National team

He won the Albert Schweitzer tournament with the German U18 national team in spring 2018 , and came third with Germany at the 2019 U20 European Championship.
