Lorenzo - The Flying Frenchman (* 1977 in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer , Camargue , as Laurent Serre ), in Germany also The Flying Frenchman is a French show rider.
Career
He started riding his parents' horse at the age of six, and when he was seven he moved to the vaulting camp, as he was bored with the classic riding style. During the holidays he trained with circus performers. At the age of twelve he rode in his village in smaller shows and from then on called himself Lorenzo. At seventeen he went on tour in Germany for the first time, which marked the beginning of his “Lorenzo International Horse Show”.
Since he was seriously injured in a fall at the age of 18, he converted his standing number, which he previously only showed as an encore, into the main attraction. Due to lucrative offers, he dropped out at 19.
He appears at world cup tournaments and horse fairs worldwide. In 2008 he was a guest at the Olympia London International Horse Show with 10 horses in London. He performed with 12 horses at the HOP TOP Show 2011 in Essen , as well as at the 2012 Adrenaline show in London's ExCel center . In November 2014 he performed at the Madrid Horse Week .
