Lost in Blue is a Japanese video game from the Japanese manufacturer Konami from 2005 that was released exclusively for the Nintendo DS . It is the continuation of the Survival Kids series.

The player is in the role of two young people who are stranded on a lonely island and now have to fight for their survival. It is important to procure the needs like basic food and to look for materials for building tools and objects. Making spears to catch fish and setting traps are also vital measures to satisfy hunger. Furthermore, a way out of this predicament must be found in order to be saved and to be able to leave the island again. The successor is Lost in Blue 2.

action

Keith is an adventurous but indecisive, athletic youth who is always ready to help others and therefore neglects himself and learning. He embarks on a long voyage during the summer vacation and gets caught in a dangerous storm that capsizes the ship and throws Keith overboard. The next morning he wakes up on a lonely beach on a huge and deserted island. He asks himself excitedly where he might be and how he can get home. Keith tries to find something to eat first, because he is hungry as a bear and his stomach is growling a lot. He goes in search of food and finds fruits and mussels on the beach. As he penetrates further into the island, he finds wood and an empty cave where he can rest and eat something. Immediately he builds a fire lighter to light a fire so that he can dry his things and warm himself up again.

The next morning, Keith sets off to explore the island and satisfy his hunger. He meets a young girl named Skye, who also seems to be stranded on the island, and brings her to the cave to warm her up and to get her some food and water. They tell each other how they got into this predicament, and Keith encourages her to calm them down.

From now on, the two must fight for their survival in a strange world and try to draw a positive meaning from this fateful encounter in order to escape from this island again and get home.
