Lothar Müller (economist)
Lothar Müller (born January 27, 1927 in Munich ) is a German economist .
Career
Müller studied economics and law in Erlangen and Munich from 1946 to 1950 and then joined the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance . There he rose to the position of ministerial director . From 1979 to 1994 he was President of the State Central Bank in Bavaria and, in this function, also a member of the Central Bank Council of the Deutsche Bundesbank .
