Lothar Steinhauer

Lothar Steinhauer ( "Tanne" ) (born March 27, 1955 ) is a German former football player .

Career

The striker played for many years for the Remscheid club BV 08 Lüttringhausen , including 1982/83 in the 2nd Bundesliga , where he scored 12 goals in 32 games. The header specialist came in 1978 at the age of 23 from RSV Meinerzhagen with the recommendation of 25 goals this season for BVL. In the 1979 DFB Cup he scored three goals against Westfalia Herne and thus made it into the third round. Steinhauer multiple selection Niederrhein player was 1,982 scorer (27 goals) of the Oberliga Nordrhein and celebrated with the BV Lüttringhausen the league championship . From 1984 to 1986 he played for Wuppertal SV in the league, where he was the best scorer in the Wuppertal team with 21 and 13 goals this season.

In his later career, Lothar Steinhauer remained loyal to his native Bergisch homeland, as coach he was responsible for FC Remscheid for five years until he was dismissed in autumn 2007. For the 2009/10 season Lothar Steinhauer was coach at the national league club SV 09/35 Wermelskirchen , who relegated to the district league and dismissed Steinhauer in November 2010. Since March 2012 he has been youth leader at his former club FC Remscheid.
