The Louštín (German Lauernstein , also Lauschtin ) is at 537 m the highest mountain of the Džbán ( Krugwald ), the northern part of the Brdywald in the Czech Republic . It is located one and a half kilometers southeast of Krušovice in the Okres Rakovník .
There was an early fortification on the mountain, which was probably built during the Bronze Age. In the 13th century, Mount Wenceslas I served as a hunting seat and the king had a hunting lodge built for himself.
Today there is a radio transmission tower on the summit.
