Louis Chevalier (athlete)
Louis Chevalier (born April 28, 1921 in Chavagne , † November 13, 2006 in Rennes ) was a French walker .
In 10,000 m walking he was fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 . In 1948 he was disqualified in the preliminary round at the Olympic Games in London . At the Euro 1950 in Brussels he was fifth, at the Olympic Games 1952 in Helsinki fourth and at the Euro 1954 in Bern seventh. In 1955 he won bronze at the Mediterranean Games.
He was five times French champion in 10,000 m walking (1945, 1951-1954) and once in 20 km walking (1956).
