Louis Dale (born May 20, 1988 in Birmingham , Alabama ) is a retired American basketball player . In the 2012/2013 season Dale played for the club KAO Dramas in Greece.

Career

Before his professional career, Louis Dale played for Cornell Big Red in the North American college league NCAA . In the 2010/2011 season, coach John Patrick brought him to the BG Göttingen in the basketball league , where he did not get beyond the role of the bank player. After the season he decided to stay another season, although a major upheaval was taking place. He was appointed team captain by the new coach Stefan Mienack . He started the season with strong performances, which made him indispensable for the Göttingen team. Together with winger Paris Horne, Dale formed a strong team. In a European Cup game against Beşiktaş JK Istanbul , Dale suffered a cruciate ligament tear, which was for the rest of the season. Louis Dale was the top scorer of BG Göttingen in the 2011/2012 season with an average of 11.9 points . After the season ended with the sporting descent of the BG Göttingen , Dale moved from Germany to Greece and got a contract with KAO Dramas . After another cruciate ligament tear in the summer of 2013, Louis Dale ended his career. He then began working as an assistant coach on the staff of the women's basketball team at Boston College for the 2013/2014 season .
