Louis Dité

Louis Dité (born March 26, 1891 in Vienna ; † November 18, 1969 there ) was an Austrian organist , composer and music teacher .

In 1917 he worked in the court orchestra , in 1933 he was an academy professor. He received the State Prize for Composition.

Works

Dité composed organ, piano, choral and chamber music, masses, symphonies, many songs and works for choirs. He was the editor of the masterpieces of church music , which appeared from 1946.
