Louis Le Sénéchal (born October 2, 1910 in Berck , † March 2, 1977 in Suresnes ) was a French politician. From 1951 to 1955, 1967 to 1968 and 1973 to 1977 he was a member of the National Assembly .

After completing his studies, Le Sénéchal began working as a teacher in Marquise in the Pas-de-Calais department . In the 1930s he joined the SFIO and was also involved in the CGT , of which he was local chairman until 1946. In 1936 he also succeeded in entering the General Council of the Pas-de-Calais department. During the Second World War he formed part of the Resistance and had to flee from the Germans to the Lot department . There he belonged to the Francs-tireurs et partisans , for which he was later accepted into the Legion of Honor . After the liberation of France, Le Sénéchal was elected mayor of the Marquise, which he remained until his death. He applied unsuccessfully for a seat in the constituent national assembly in 1945. His attempt to move into the first regular parliament after the war in 1946 was also unsuccessful. In 1951 he finally made it into the National Assembly. He represented the Pas-de-Calais department for five years before deciding against running again for health reasons in 1956. Nevertheless, he ran again in 1967 and was re-elected to parliament. He did not succeed in re-election in the early elections in 1968, but in 1973 he made it into the National Assembly again. He died in March 1977 after a long illness.
