Louis Pierre Gratiolet (born July 6, 1815 in Sainte-Foy-la-Grande , Gironde department , † February 16, 1865 in Paris ) was a French doctor and zoologist.

Gratiolet was from 1863 professor of zoology at the natural science faculty of the University of Paris . He worked in the fields of anthropology , the anatomy of the brain and the physiognomy . A part of the visual pathway (Gratiolet-Sehstrahl, Radiatio optica ) is named after him.
