Louise Blachère (* in Saint-Étienne ) is a French actress .

Life

Blachère was still in school when she applied for a role in Celine Sciamma's new film, following an ad in Studio magazine . Blachère prevailed against other competitors and played the leading role of Marie in Sciamma's 2007 youth film Water Lilies alongside Pauline Acquart and Adèle Haenel . In 2008 she received a César nomination in the category Best Young Actress for her performance .

Blachère had already started acting in Saint-Étienne when he was 15 years old. From 2009 to 2011 she attended the drama school Au QG and from 2011 to 2013 the drama conservatory in the 19th arrondissement in Paris . During this time she was seen in various movies and short films and acted in theater. She also appeared in television films. From 2011 to 2013 she was part of the ensemble of the television series Soda .
