Louise Gned

Louise Gned , married Louise von Poißl , (around 1810 - after 1846) was an Austrian opera singer ( soprano ).

Life

Gned, the daughter of the actor couple Josef and Elise Gned , as well as her siblings Nina, Franz and Pepi, appeared as a child actress in the children's society of the German Theater Pest, which was led by Friedrich Zöllner . As a singer she had her first successes in Pest and Prague . From 1838 to 1839 she worked at the court theater in Darmstadt . From 1839 to 1841 she worked as a guest, a. a. in Frankfurt am Main , where she sang Queen of the Night ( Die Zauberflöte ) , and returned to Darmstadt in 1841, where she stayed until 1844. From 1844 to 1845 she was at the Düsseldorf Opera House , from 1845 to 1846 at the Detmold Court Theater . In 1846 it went to the Rostock City Theater, after which it is lost.

Her sister was Nina Gned , also an opera singer (alto). She was married to the opera singer (baritone) Zacharias von Poißl .
