In addition to chamber music pieces, Héritte-Viardot also composed orchestral works and symphonies, but many of her compositions have been lost. These include a trio in C minor that premiered in Paris in 1877, as well as a sonata for cello and piano from 1909. In 1879, her comic opera Lindoro was premiered in Weimar. Her three piano quartets (Quartet in D minor, Quartet in A major In Summer and D major Spanish Quartet ) were recorded on CD in 2008.
