Louise Preyer
Louise Preyer (* 1805 in Rheydt ; † 1834 in Eschweiler ) was a German still life painter from the Düsseldorf School .
Life
Louise Preyer grew up in Eschweiler from 1813. She was an autodidact sponsored by her brother Gustav Preyer . Like almost all Preyers, she painted small-format still lifes. Like all of the Preyer's daughters, she died in Eschweiler at an early age, only 29 years old.
In 1955, in memory of the Preyer family of painters, the "Kasernenstrasse" in Eschweiler was renamed "Preyerstrasse" .
