Lourdes Chapel (Steindorf)

The Lourdes Chapel is a monument in Steindorf in the Aichach-Friedberg district .

It was donated by the Steindorf pastor Georg Hackl in 1886 and built in place of a much older chapel. Hackl brought a replica of the statue of Mary by Joseph-Hugues Fabisch from Lourdes , for which he initiated the construction. It is a wooden building with a square roof turret based on plans by the Munich building authority inspector Friedrich Adelung. The chapel was on May 2, 1886 consecrated . It was renovated in 1997 and is now a listed building.
