The Lovegrove Point is a headland on the west coast of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It marks the northern limit of the entrance to Express Cove .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1991 after Ian William Lovegrove (* 1945) of the British Antarctic Survey , head of the Rothera station from 1983 to 1984 and the Signy station from 1984 to 1989.
