Lovisa Östervall

Lovisa Östervall (born March 9, 1997 ) is a Swedish athlete who has specialized in the all- around competition .

Career

On February 22, 2015 she took part in the 4 x 200 meter relay competition at the Swedish Indoor Championships and won the bronze medal as part of the IFK Tumba relay . She also took part in the heptathlon competition at the Swedish Athletics Championships in 2015 and on September 6, she won the competition and her first Swedish championship title ahead of Malin Skogström and Beatrice Lantz. Before that, she had participated in the 2015 European Athletics Junior Championships from July 16-19, 2015 , which was held in the Swedish city of Eskilstuna . In the heptathlon competition, she took seventh place.

A year later, between July 19 and 24, she took part in the 2016 U20 World Athletics Championships in the Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak Stadium in Bydgoszcz . In the heptathlon competition, she finished fifth, right behind her compatriot Bianca Salming . At the Swedish Athletics Championships in 2017, she won the silver medal behind Bianca Salming.
