Bianca Emmelie Elisabeth Salming (born November 22, 1998 ) is a Swedish heptathlete .

Athletic career

Bianca Salming gained her first international experience at the U18 World Championships in Cali in 2015 , where she finished seventh with 5685 points. The following year she finished fourth at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz with 5840 points. In 2017 she qualified for the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade , which she finished in 10th place with 4,389 points. In summer he took part in the U20 European Championships in Grosseto , where she finished sixth in both the heptathlon and the high jump. In 2018 she qualified for the European Championships in Berlin , but could not finish her competition there. The following year she took part in the high jump at the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow , but did not reach the final with 1.85 m. Then she came in seventh place at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 5754 points.

In 2016, 2017 and 2019 Salming became Swedish champion in the heptathlon and in 2016, 2017 and 2020 also in the indoor pentathlon.
