The Lower Jaw Glacier (English for lower jaw glacier ) is a glacier in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Royal Society Range , it represents the southern branch of a glacier on the east side of a mountain ridge that extends north from Mount Shark Fin . It flows in an easterly direction and flows together with the Upper Jaw Glacier into the Renegar Glacier .
The New Zealand Geographic Board made the descriptive naming in 1994. Together with the Upper Jaw Glacier and the Shark Fin is reminiscent of a torn mouth of a shark .
