Luàna Bajrami (born March 14, 2001 in Kosovo ) is a film actress who lives and works in France .

Life

Bajrami was born in Kosovo as the daughter of a civil servant and a chef. When Bajrami was seven years old, she moved to France with her parents; the family lives in Val-de-Marne .

Bajrami first appeared in front of the camera at the age of ten and played alongside Miou-Miou in the TV film Le choix d'Adèle by Olivier Guignard . This was followed by theater training at the Conservatoire de Limeil-Brévannes and the Baccalauréat , which she passed a year earlier than usual.

Bajrami has taken on roles in various short films. In L'heure de la sortie by Sébastien Marnier , Bajrami was first seen in a movie in 2018, before she took on a supporting role in Portrait of a Young Woman in Flames by Celine Sciamma in 2019 : Bajrami received a César nomination in 2020 for her portrayal of the house servant Sophie as best young actress .
