Limeil-Brévannes is a French municipality with 27,228 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-de-Marne in the region Ile-de-France ; it is located in the arrondissement of Nogent-sur-Marne and belongs to the canton of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges . The inhabitants are called Brévannais .

history

The municipalities of Limeil and Brévannes were united in the years of the revolution around 1789. In 1860 a Gallo-Roman settlement was found in the municipality. The Martinskirche rests on foundations from the 13th century.
