Établissement public territorial Grand Paris Sud Est Avenir is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of établissement public territorial (EPT) in the department of Val-de-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . The community association was founded on January 1, 2016 and comprises 16 communities. The administrative headquarters are in Créteil .

Historical development

The association of municipalities came into being with effect from January 1, 2016 as part of the creation of this legal form of association of municipalities and its main purpose is to partially decentralize local government in the huge Métropole du Grand Paris . The member municipalities therefore belong to both municipal associations.
