Périgny (also: Périgny-sur-Yerres ) is a French municipality with 2668 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-de-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . Périgny belongs to the Arrondissement of Créteil and the canton of Plateau Briard . The inhabitants are called Pérignons .

geography

Périgny is the southernmost municipality in the Val-de-Marne department. It lies on the River Yerres and is about 23 kilometers south-southeast of Paris . The Yerres forms the western boundary of the municipality. Périgny is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mandres-les-Roses in the north, Servon in the northeast, Brie-Comte-Robert in the southeast, Varennes-Jarcy in the south and Boussy-Saint-Antoine in the west.
