Sucy-en-Brie is a French city with 26,472 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) on the outskirts of Paris . It is located about 20 kilometers southeast of Paris city center in the Val-de-Marne department (94) and thus in the Petite Couronne . The inhabitants are called Sucyciens .

Town twinning
A town partnership has existed with the town of Bietigheim-Bissingen in Baden-Württemberg since 1967 . For many years this has enabled lively student exchanges in which the various schools in the city take part.
Further partnerships exist with Surrey Heath in Great Britain (since 1969), with Trujillo in Peru (since 1997), with Ofakim in Israel (since 1987) and with Scituate in Massachusetts , USA (since 2011).
