Surrey Heath is an administrative district with borough status in the county of Surrey in England . The administrative seat is Camberley , where about half the population lives; other significant locations are Bagshot , Bisley , Chobham, Frimley , Lightwater , Mytchett , West End and Windlesham . There is a city partnership with Bietigheim-Bissingen .

The district was formed on April 1, 1974 and was the result of the merger of the Urban District Frimley and Camberley and the Rural District Bagshot.
