Tandridge is a district in the county of Surrey in England , which borders Greater London to the north . The administrative seat is Oxted ; other significant places are Bletchingley , Caterham (Surrey) , Chaldon , Dormansland , Godstone , Hurst Green , Limpsfield , Lingfield , Tatsfield , Warlingham , Whyteleafe and Woldingham . The district is named after the village of Tandridge , which is roughly in the center.

The district was formed on April 1, 1974 and was created from the merger of the Urban District Caterham and Warlingham and the Rural District Godstone. The small village of Farleigh was part of Greater London from 1965 to 1969.
